Society Membership Information

Members of the Red Feather Historical Society, Inc. are interested in preserving the history of our area. They provide an essential part of the funding and encouragement necessary to continue our efforts to maintain and preserve our properties, buildings and open lands. As a member, you will receive our newsletters, invitations to special events, programs, and tours. You will also have the opportunity to volunteer in a variety of activities.

If you would like to become a member, print the form below, complete the information, and mail to Red Feather Historical Society, Inc. P.O. Box 565, Red Feather Lakes, CO 80545. Membership Activities

We need volunteers to be an effective Organization. Please check your interests below.

__ Archiving and preserving: inventorying & cataloguing artifacts; preserving photos

__ Tours: set up and/or lead a tour

__ Cutlery & merchandise sales: set up, take down, sell, inventory and order knives etc.

__ Robinson Cabin: preservation or being a host

__ Greening of Red Feather Craft Fair and holiday decorating

__ Newsletter: writing articles

__ Grants: grant searching and writing

__ Website: write articles, submit photos

__ Board member: serve a two year term

__ Historical story telling and reenacting

__ Videographer: run video camera for interviews of historical persons
